Hermès Window Summer 2026
2026
For Summer 2026, this series of window displays explores the idea of freedom through objects and figures that unexpectedly come to life. Inspired by L’appel du Large, the installations imagine a world where things usually fixed in place begin to move, escape and travel toward new horizons.
Carousel horses break away from their platform, a scarecrow steps out of the field, and birds leave the structures they once belonged to. Natural materials such as straw and raffia are combined with bold, graphic architectural forms, creating scenes that feel both familiar and slightly surreal. Across the windows, stillness gives way to movement, turning everyday rural symbols into characters caught in the act of breaking free.

The theme
The theme, L’appel du Large, is interpreted as an irresistible pull toward somewhere beyond the familiar.
