This Window design concept takes inspiration from ancient Greece and early 1900s avant-garde art movements. It explores the idea of making the impossible possible, turning flat sketches into bold, three-dimensional forms. Like a sketchbook coming to life, lines gain depth, forms twist and shift. Classical references from ancient Greece are used as a foundation, columns, vases, figures, but they are deliberately distorted, fragmented, and reinterpreted through early 1900s avant-garde thinking. Together, these influences turn drawing into a spatial language, where forms twist, float, and defy gravity.
The theme
Le Dessin:
Le Dessin celebrates drawing as a space of freedom and imagination. Playful shapes, distorted proportions, and shifting perspectives come together like a collage that defies logic. The displays create a world where the usual rules of reality no longer apply, a space where balance, scale, and gravity are reimagined. This sense of impossibility is made possible through drawing, where imagination leads and form follows.
